Ernestine White

" I grew up with the realization that home was not just a structure situated in a geographical location that contained a fixed collection of memories, languages and tradition. It was instead an impermant, unstabel space that was defined by and ever changing collection of experiences"

What a great quote...so true. In many ways home is simply a collection of perceptions relating to comfort and familiarity on some level. At times we are all comfortable in our homes and other times we feel a need to leave it. Connective experiences linking the concept of home to self are indeed powerful.
